In addition to fermenters and storage tanks, beer production relies on complex thermal circuits: hot water for brewing, cold water for cooling, glycol water for regulation. At ZIEMEX, we design and manufacture custom tanks suited to each point in the process:

ENERGY PERFORMANCE

and custom insulation

Controlling heat loss is a key performance factor in modern breweries.

At ZIEMEX, we select insulation materials based on the nature of the circuit:

Cold circuits: injected polyurethane (PU) foam insulation, providing an excellent balance between efficiency and cost. Alternatively, high-performance, fire-resistant PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam can be used for more challenging environments.
Hot circuits: variable density rock wool panel insulation, arranged in overlapping layers to eliminate thermal bridges.
Temperature maintenance: option to add insulated electric trace heating, or a heating system that is integrated via the ZIEMEX laser welded single embossed pillow plates, enabling the fluid temperature to be preserved or controlled thermal cycles to be implemented.

These technologies guarantee optimal energy performance, reduced consumption and stable operation, regardless of the installation conditions.
