Our XXL industrial fermenters can provide up to 600m³ of useful volume and 6 metres in diameter, and are made in a single piece with no intermediate seam.
That performance level makes it possible to meet the requirements of large-scale fermentation processes in industries such as biotechnology, green chemicals and ingredient manufacturing.

The making of a fermenter calls for full control over all constraints:
- Mechanical sizing (pressure, agitation stresses, impact resistance)
- Heat transfer tailored to the volume
- Guaranteed sterility even at large scale (controlled roughness, monitored welding),

- strict compliance with PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX, and GMP standards.

LOGISTICS
controlled from end to end
These XXL fermenters are carried by inland waterway or by special transport convoys from our production facility.
ZIEMEX handles all the logistics, including itinerary studies, transport permissions and coordination with the customer site. Each stage is anticipated to guarantee installation with no break in the chain.
