ZIEMEX has been designing and building very large columns for over 60 years to meet the most demanding industrial requirements.
Our columns can be up to 36m long, with 5.5m diameter and weigh 150 tonnes, all in a single piece.
That performance level makes it possible to meet the requirements of large-scale distillation processes in industries such as biotechnology, chemicals, green chemicals, distilleries and ingredient manufacturing. Columns are carried by inland waterway or by special transport convoys from our production facility.
ZIEMEX handles all the logistics,(Ziemex prend en charge la logistique complète) including itinerary studies, transport permissions and coordination with the customer site.
Each stage is anticipated to guarantee installation with no break in the chain.
